I have a very complicated medical problem. Dr. Owens is the only doctor that I have been to that has not given upon my situation. Dr. Owens is a very caring doctor and will stick with a patient until he finds a solution. I highly recommend Dr. Owens.
Dr. Owens is great, however customer service is terrible. 3/4 of the time I can't even get ahold of someone. If they are really that busy, they ought to hire more receptionists to pick up the phone.
While Dr Owens himself is a great person...this place is terrible. I was told I needed an MRI, which would have to go through insurance which is fine...until two weeks go by and I still havent heard from the office whether it was approved or not, so I called the office myself. "I haven't gotten to it yet, I plan to get to it this afternoon"...two more weeks pass and I hear nothing. After five weeks total since my initial appointment I got a letter from my insurance informing me that it was denied...so I wait for the office to call me and let me know. Finally got a call about four days after getting the letter, she doesn't mention why it was denied, and says I need to get xrays. I ask them to send them to the hospital of my choice and wait about an hour before leaving work to get them done. When I get to the hospital the order still isn't there for another half hour, so I missed hours at work waiting for this. I left work early for my follow up appointment and sat in the waiting room for an hour before deciding to leave without being seen. They definitely need to improve on communication with patients. All of this should've been completed weeks ago and here I am, still in pain.
Chad is a good doctor, but the facility is ran horribly. Terrible management. Facility has been "under construction" for a very long time. No handicap restrooms. Manager would rather spend money on house than business.
Fantastic. They care. Old staff was really bad but Doc fixed that problem. Everyone on this staff seems to have a good attitude and care about the patients. Your PA, Teresa, is especially good with a great bedside manor. I believe the best nurse you have there is Karie. She has a Great sense of humor and is professional at all times. And she told me to say she needs a $50,000 rate. Just kidding, but she deserves any raise you can give her.
