I made an appointment with Durheim, took the day off scheduled around them being here at 9 a.m. called in at 11:00 am to check on the status of my appointment so I could step to the back yard for a minute without missing them. The man tells me that my appointment had been cancelled!! Said "He" called and cancelled. Well I informed him I am female and had not called to cancel an appointment. He said let me call my tech and get back with you...this is at 11!!! I wait on him to call and he never does so I call back at 12:30, NO ANSWER....run to the back to attend to something in the shop come back in and have no missed calls. So, I wait. Finally call back at 1:30 BUSY LINE, AGAIN BUSY, AGAIN BUSY, BUSY.....so at this point I GIVE UP!!! If you need dependable service I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. Since it's almost black Friday I believe I'll just purchase a new Dryer! Thanks Durheim for hijacking my day that could have been productive but instead I waited on a service call from your company that YOU cancelled, missed, overlooked, who knows at this point because you won't even answer the phone. As a matter a fact now I CAN'T EVEN CALL IN TO YOU BUSINESS. Maybe your taking a nap and took your landline off the hook, who knows???????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I could give zero stars I would. I had them come out to look at my freezer and they decided it was my seals on my door. They said they would order parts and come back when the parts where in. A month later I called back cause I had not heard from them. They told me the parts had been in for a while and they were waiting for me to call and make an appointment. So I made an appointment and had my wife stay home all day so she would be there. Then the day of the appointment they didn't even show up. Apparently They called while I was at work that day and when I didn't answer they cancelled the appointment. When I called to ask them about it they said they could reschedule but it would be a while before they could get me in and I must answer a phone call before they would show up.
Worst repair experience ever. Took a small Frig into the store. 1 month later I was told to order the part. After taking it in the next week, I waited another month to bring the frig home. It didn't work 1 minute. Apparently, he didn't bother to drain/dry the water in the lines when replacing the coolant. Took it immediately back and he said "Oh I need to dry it, it shouldn't take too long." Three weeks later, it's still in the window exactly where I dropped it off the second time and he hasn't looked at it yet. This was after a couple phone calls where the staff said, "He'll call you back" but didn't get the message apparently. Bottom line - I paid and it's been 4 months and I still have no frig. Completely, utterly unsatisfactory performance.
I almost bought a new dryer when it was the breaker was flipped. :0
So I'm gonna leave my previous comment and add to it. The Service man/owner shows up at 2:30. Turns out that his son has had a heart surgery. The wife that usually does the scheduling is taking care of the son. So the scheduling is not a accurate as it should be.
So I'm gonna take my 1 star rating and make it a 4 star because of the lack of communication. However, he was very polite when he showed up and I was not worried about letting him in my home. I have had some pretty sketchy service people that you just don't want to let in before from other companies.
