I moved in the fall 2012. An agent came to my home and estimated the cost of my move (approx. $2,000), based on weight, with actual weight to be determined when the truck was loaded. Movers arrived on time. They did not wrap their dolly with a quilted wrap to protect my furniture, until the original agent arrived about an hour later. Everything moved during that hour has dents and scratches. In order to lower costs, I moved several loads (the heaviest 1/2 of the boxes) ahead of time. I also did not move a refrigerator, large grill, bedroom suite or tools that were included in the "estimate". At my new home, the driver helped unload furniture. He had my dryer on a dolly and while waiting for the hookup to be completed, repeatedly bumped it into a door. Despite moving heavier boxes and not moving several heavy items, the cost was somehow the same. I would not recommend anyone use King Transfer and Storage.
