The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They will tell you as much or as little about any particular exhibit that they have. The landrun and oil & gas history included interactive media that gives perspective from people from the day. There was also some incredible, authentic items from everyday life that are rarely seen today. You really need 3 hours to see everything. I paid the maximum admission fee ($6) and definitely got my monies worth. Great place for history buffs or people wanting to know about the early days of Oklahoma and specifically Enid, Oklahoma.
It was good dad really like it. The chisomn trail is where my and I grow up. My parents to for the most part. We have heritage center and museum in Duncan it's where we're from. Got pics of my kids playing with old wooden toys...lol low tech. It was fun.
Very informative. Smithonian quality, but much more personalized. Small shop. Outdoor tour after 1pm.
Great place to check out! The staff are wonderful and the events are always fun for all ages. I come here every chance I get for their new exhibits and events. My daughters love it. The gift shop has some nice replicas and a few made in Oklahoma treasures. They even do classes in the old school for elementary schools.
My family had an amazing time. The staff was great.
