When a family is called to pickup their precious dog, we assume she is better, NOT in the actual dying process. To suggest euthanasia would have been a kinder, more compassionate option in her case. We they die in 3 hours, post release from your care, in my opinion, was cruel. If we would have been warned it would have made it much easier. With the weekend near I am sure that it was easier to send her home to die.We knew she was very ill, but not ready to see what we were dealt with no warning or given other options.
