Our Escape has been in the shop for two weeks' worth of warranty work: First, a failed torque converter clutch solenoid; then the torque converter; and then the valve body. Pretty much got a reman trans out of it. Rocky the service advisor is the best. Stevens picked up the tab for the car rental, too. Next time we're in the market for new wheels, we're heading to Stevens Ford. Sure would like to know what it is about Ford and transmissions, though: The '07 Crown Vic we used to have was in there twice for warranty transmission work.
